IHL Policies and Bylaws, 1201.02 mandates:

“D. Members of the IHL Board are constitutionally challenged to serve with “the highest order of intelligence, character, learning, and fitness.” In this regard, each board member should abide by the following code of ethical conduct: . . . c. to avoid both the actuality and appearance of acting on the behalf of others’ private interests.”  (Emphasis added.)

Ms. Munn passed a message from Mr. Nicholson to Dr. Crockett that he (Mr. Nicholson) “will take care of it.” The message is written on a document that requests a hearing by an independent committee of faculty into possible wrong-doing by Dr. Crockett.  The request for a hearing and finding of fact was never granted.

Why is there is so little faith in a finding of fact?  Or in the due process of a Grievance Committee which would be composed of University professors?
